I agree about the phone but I use a German app called Here which allows me to download the fill.maps at home over WiFi and save to the phones memory. What's more it's free and it works at least as well as the Garmin O have for the bike. Gives speed limit warnings too.
Even on the bike I.use the phone now. Stuck.in the topbpx and directing me by blue tooth to my helmet
You have nothing to.lpse by downloading it and trying it out. Interestingly it's the same company that supplied the map data to Jaguar for the F type satnav
