In my Mog I use an iPhone with the app "Scenic" by
www.motomappers.com. The app allows you to download maps. This makes you independent of an Internet connection.
With the app you can create routes and also document driven routes. You can also create routes from gpx files that you previously created in another program.
I'm very happy with that.
In my everyday car I use a Tom Tom Go 5000 with traffic information in real time (I don't really need it in the Mog) and lifelong updates.
An important criterion for the smartphone in the Mog is that I don't need an extra device to store when I park my car.
