At least it happened as I was pulling into my driveway! The neoprene sprocket came loose from the aluminum wheel which means that whatever glue was used and the various bolts have failed. The sprocket looks very good aside from being free. Hardly any wear. I am hoping that it can be reattached, or slightly worse, a new neoprene sprocket can be made for it.
Will take car to Morgan Motors of New England as they have lifts for this and I don't. I had the rear mud fender installed and it makes working on the rear more complicated and fiddly.
Well over 16,000 miles on this thing. I just rolled over 39,000 miles total last week.
Anyone else have this problem?
