Lets be honest, the cars are poorly built from low standard/cost components, appeal to a minority market and are astronomically expensive for what they are.




What you forget is that they are bought by people with enough spare cash around to buy and run one purely for pleasure - most owners being as characterful and quirky as the cars themselves.

One thing all the owners will not tolerate is being told what not to buy and why because they are free thinkers ..

You are a convert too so you know the emotion they are capable of stirring, I have to say 130,000 smackers for the 50 year celebration cars seems a bit rich though but they are handsome and had I the funds I would have one in a heartbeat the Brooklands screened one of course.
