The handbrake issues were never really resolved on the Cosworth cars
I appreciate that ARP4 owners never really had a say in the matter, but honestly I fail to see why anyone would feel the need for disc rear brakes on a road-going trad Morgan?
It's hardly as if the standard cars are underbraked, and even if one did want better stopping power surely it's the fronts that should be upgraded as they do nearly all the work anyway?
Like the fascination with using low-profile rubber bands instead of decent tyres, I strongly suspect this is another aspect of the "Race cars have them so they must be good for road cars" fallacy.
