Put the Fairbourne screen on and I am happy to say that the instructions were admirable. The missing parts, not so much. There were supposed to be some rubber inserts for the central spline as well as a leather pad for the spline to sit on top of the paint. I made do.
It took longer to remove the old windscreens and clean up the slots of the silicone crap that was used.
I took a test drive and was pleasantly surprised by how much my outboard hand was not getting blasted by the wind! The clarity of the Lexan is a welcome improvement as well has having the top of the screen not in my sightline. Looking through the windscreen is a novelty. I did add a small bead of silicone caulk on the front edge where the screen is inserted through the slot. It makes sense to keep water out of that as it will then have a tendency to fall on the electronics. Part of the installation process is removing the aluminum skirt under the dash that is there to collect whatever water gets through and divert it to the sides away from the electrics. It then will fall on your outboard thighs...
