Fairbourne screen after thoughts:
Very transparent compared to the stock plexiglass. Harder to scratch. I clean with an aerosol glass cleaner and a cotton towel followed by a very fine polyester bar towel (suitable for fine stemware) to remove residual streaks.
I find that during a light rain drying off afterwards will reveal more water on the inside of the panes. That is a puzzlement. Same during a dry drive. The inside of the windshield will collect the dust coming from inside the car and get attached to the windshield. I suspect some kind of static charge helping here with the dust.
My outboard hand no longer requires ski gloves. The arm is helped as well.
The installation is not perfect. When the stock windshield was installed it was before the body skin was attached to the frame and much easier to do as there was access. After the body is attached there is very little room to work with. Two hands are almost impossible and tools are problematic. I am totally right-handed and there are almost a dozen small puncture wounds healing...
It is still worth it!
