I used the Mifold for my daughter who was 5 when I got mine. It worked as described, though it was fiddly putting it in and taking it out. We didn't use it very long though. The seat belt sits low enough that it doesn't really bother her. It doesn't dig into a child's neck the way a full size car belt does if they aren't lifted from the seat.
