It's a very well made film. It's a shame that it's only in German. The rebirth of a unique piece from 1937, done in 2014. Look at it and enjoy the pictures of the reconstruction.
The body was rebuilt in Holland. They had found an original ladder frame, and old drawings. That was the initial start of the rebuilt.

Dunlop bought the car at that time to test tyres. The car has an ash wood frame and aluminium skin, and it has the bonnet like the Morgan has until today. The shape of the roof reminds me of the Aero5 with hardtop. The weight was huge, 2,4 tons. The top speed 186 km/h.

If you have the time to see the video, enjoy. Of course you can skip the interviews in German and see the final result at the end of the film. I thing it is amazing what they have invested at Mercedes Classic to recreate this one-off car.

Her shape was many years ahead. Her technique also, an in-line eight cylinder with engageable compressor.

And I must say, I like this dashboard and the gauges with their illumination.

May be today you could spend her a nicer front but the overall shape is amazing in my view.
