There is a clear gap in the sale/ use of drones.
Anyone can buy them with little or no control over how they are used. There are regs and laws in place but almost impossible to impose. A bit like use of mobiles whilst driving but more difficult as the user is remote from the drone. Gatwick is near to a residential area so flying a drone over houses is also barred besides the airport implications.
Shoot it down? Who is liable for injury/damage when it hits someone/something?
Perhaps the answer is to prevent sales to unlicensed users?
What to do about those already in ownership?
I have thought of getting one but where would I use it ? There is limited scope due to line of sight, built up areas, restricted areas. I fear it would end up in the shed unused.
