I ordered mine in early 2016 and received it in early 2017. Perhaps he has help now. During the construction of my wheel he was working by himself. Waiting a year for anything can be very frustrating. Be patient and keep the lines of communication open. Hopefully your wheel won’t take as long. It’s a nice wheel.
