I regularly see drivers pootling along at 30mph in a 60mph limit with half a mile of traffic behind them. I was stuck behind one yesterday in fact.
Isn't that also the fault of the person behind the 30mph driver? Why didn't they overtake?
That’s how I look at it
Any vehicle has a right to go slow - tractor or towing etc but the driver behind has got to look for opportunities to overtake safely which is sometimes a real problem particularly if someone is too cautious or elderly is following, which I can understand as our roads are just soo congested and oncoming drivers too fast

We demand shops full of fresh produce and next day deliveries and mass road freight without thinking of the congestion that goods vehicles cause.
I know the government is trying to cut down road freight by more deep water ports around the country so that imported items can get closer to their intended destination without all coming into the South but what difference it’s going to make, I don’t know
