Just to clarify, i think the skid plate on the trad is a good mod but if everybody seems to be hitting their sumps on the Aero based cars this plate is now sitting a lot lower. You catch that sump in a corner where the bracket attaches you could do some serious damage to the block. Neilda if you are now touching and scraping as much as you say pressure will be extended on those mounts that screw into the sump and over time will fracture. I don't think Bmw would be too happy either. As mentioned previously this is
just an observation my car's must be the exception to the rule no sump grinding at 60k miles,.. the exhaust yes.
