I'm not knowledgeable on modern smog equipment and electronics but won't you have to change the black box to an unlocked version so you can retune motor to work properly without cats? Also potential warranty problems if you are still in warranty. Also in USA there can be hefty fines if you get caught. I know some people who have had to pay them for modifying their diesel pickups.
