I think the trad models are valid because for many customers it is the only practical way to experience a genuine classic car and the outdated design aspects are essential to that experience. The aero models were equally valid because of the adventurous styling with a new chassis concept for Morgan, allied with the Morgan coachbuilt bodywork. What makes me uneasy is putting a trad style body on the new chassis. Is that an advance on the Plus 8 concept or is it the start of making cars that are just a pastiche of a true Morgan for buyers that just see it as a fashion accessory?
