Final remarks from me

Ford Specs MC2C913A and B were produced pre 2000 and required a light weight oil for better fuel consumption and did not have a lot of oil shear additives etc.

Ford spec MC2C913C around say 2006, I cannot get a firm date at the moment not only required a light oil for good fuel economy but additives to improve engine cleaning, sludge reduction, engine wear reduction and soot thickening reduction.

Ford Spec MC2C913D in 2012 added further improvements to oxidation thickening.

Ford Spec MC2C913D is advised for the Sigma engine, the expert engineer friend of Heinz from the US has not checked what the current Ford Oil Specification for that engine requires with regards to additives and his comments are way off the mark.
