Well, I think you all know me well enough to expect me to totally disagree. I can't judge whether Seb held Lewis back or whether he was just trying to keep out of the wall but IMHO it was just another racing incident.
What I do know is that 5 second penalty was completely out of order. At that point, what had been slightly less boring than usual, the race was over.
If any penalty needed to be applied then a 3 place grid penalty for the next race would have been sufficient. The imposition of this 5 second penalty was IMHO the equivalent of a football ref awarding a goal instead of a free kick. There was no penalty applied ( because it was qualifying ) when Magnusson hit the wall of champions and sent Max into the second half of the grid thus spoiling his race. I feel that there is far too much interference into todays racing possibly caused by big money and F1 isn't the only sport.
Having said all that, perhaps it's time for Seb to leave whilst he is still alive and has a life to enjoy. He has certainly lost the spark he had whilst at Red Bull. I think driving for my beloved Ferrari team does that to their drivers perhaps because they seem unable to currently produce a car of the right calibre. Look at what happened with Fernando and to an extent Kimi and others. Lets just hope that the team can put it behind them and produce a good result in France.
If you will allow, a slight drift but it has struck me for a while now but in the current era, what is the point of all the other teams? They haven't a hope in hell of challenging for a race win. They seem to be there just to make up the numbers. oldgit
