Despite being a petrol head I have totally lost interest in both F1 and Moto GP. To many big egos, bad manners, lack of sportsmanship, and terrible presenters who can't shut up for more than half a nanosecond. I will watch it if I happen to find a race on when channel flicking, and if there is nothing else on, but it is years since I have intentionally programed to watch a race.

Over the years I have met a few past champions and without exception found them to be real gentlemen. I am not sure that the same will be said about the current lot in the future. I think part of the problem is the huge amount of money involved in the "sport" today. I put "sport" because in reality it is business and all about sponsership, advertising, and TV rights.

I would rather watch classic car or bike racing.
