These two photo's illustrate how good detailing can be. Earlier this year I bought a brand new VW Transporter, and as it's going to be a keeper, I took it along to Gtechniq HQ who are local to me. John Winn's had his Speedster ceramic coated there & it looks a million dollars.
This was a photo within a week and 130 miles:

The main benefit of having it done was ease of washing. The coating is so hydrophobic, it's an easy surface to look after with minimal effort.
With a new Morgan, I wouldn't hesitate. But part of the appeal of Morganeering is the looking after bit, and I like doing the polishing and fettling, and as mine isn't new, I'm doing it..
