I agree with Britmog.
I hear a number of different rattles, but the most persistent, when you were on the main road at a constant speed I would relate to the rollover valve, which is just behind you in the rear compartment.
I have not been able to eliminate this sound from mine, but have reduced it drastically by tie wrapping the rollover valve tightly to fuel lines in the vicinity.
