The weak point of these cars is the lower ball joint on the stub axle carrier upright.
They wear and are not designed to be easily replaced.
Tarka had a MOT warning at the last one and the rattling when cold has got worse, coupled with a noticeable clunk when the front N/S wheel loads and unloads.
For some time replacement uprights have ben unavailable, back ordered at MMC.
They are back in stock...at nearly £1k each.

I'm having them replaced at the service next week, along with the Suppler suspension upgrade kit from SSL. I'll insist on taking the old units and will talk to specialists about developing an exchange service.
Given they seem to last about 40,000 miles most Aero chassis cats will need at least 1 replacement set.
