My most recent, and last, edition to lighting of my M3W.
Now in dim lighting conditions cars alongside me or close to me will know I want to turn. Having only the turn indicators only visible from directly in front of me just didn’t seem right.
http://youtu.be/6Se7WDQE-1gNicely done! I have a pair of repro Lucas "Red Dot" King of the Road Fender Lights, original for Morgan, Rolls, MG T-series, which I've updated to LEDs. They work as running lights as well as turn indicators. I plan to install them similar to what you did. They are not as visible from the sides as your lights - a good idea - but they look period correct and the red-dots are cool.
I've made up a 3d-printed thin adapter "gasket" to adapt from the fender crown to the flat mounting of the lights, just need some time this winter to complete the installation. Thanks for the ideas on the wiring also!
