At least it is useful as opposed to all that tat.
I have just had to point out to
that with paying all her mother's move bills and the 4 figure sum so far for the Xmas to ensure the kids (all of whom work) get presents etc our credit card is dead. Every year it is the same, why do people want to waste so much money on trivia and tat at Xmas?
The commercialisation of Christmas is something that sticks in my craw, and I'm not a Churchgoer, I just think it is too much.
But
accuses me of being an old Scrooge. Even so, we have seriously cut back Christmas presents within the family and are giving money to the homeless charities in Salisbury.
Most of the homeless don't like Christmas either. Shay, Andy's partner, is a carer and deals with those who have come off the street. Many say that if we had better weather they would go back to life outside.
