Your radiator heat control valve should be on the inlet....oh and the tree looks nice...
The TRV could be on the flow with the lock shield on the bottom opposite end (TBOE).
Supposed to give slightly higher heat output and easier to adjust valve especially for old folks but looks better BBOE i think.
