On the back road to Lampeter from Llanfair Clydogau there are (or at least were) two farms that herd cattle across between farm and fields opposite. One was always immaculate ( we called it the 'red farm' as the gates were painted red, although looking at Google Maps, they're now blue), and the road was always kept as clean as realistically possible. The other was known locally as 'sh1t corner' and I don't think I'd ever met anyone who didn't have some experience of going sideways due to the amount of muck covering the road. I know they were periodically asked to clear it up, but it would only be a matter of days before it was back to it's usual state.....
