I have have driven some dogs of turbos such as the Crossely diesel turbo Land Rover Disco (only company car with 6 seats & I have 4 kids, 0-60 about 11 months) and some gems such as the common rail Citroen HDI which you could truly believe was petrol & had power across the range.
I also have been loaned a 911 Carerra 4 S which was awesome as a car & was is a twin turbo.
My Mercedes is a Kompressor (i.e. super charger) & that is also great for pick up & economy 38 mpg at high speed motorway touring & fast A roads. The turbo diesel version does 44 mpg but ain't nowhere near as much fun responsively.
I guess my question is will the T16 survive having a turbo fitted or can I get more usable power for everyday A roads elsewhere.
