Just listened to the latest
PODCAST that confirms that the drive between the engine and flywheel was lost. i.e. The engine was reving but had lost connection to the drivetrain. The team are in contact with MMC and KrazyHorse and are having spare parts shipped out which they reckon will take 3-4 days. The local mechanics are very resourceful and have already started to talk about making up parts to effect the repair. The very best of luck to them!
I'm not on Twitter, but if anyone is, it might be helpful to point the support team [@transindiachal] in the direction of Phil Bleazey's engine removal procedure. Availiable for free via the Morgan Three Wheeler Club website. Click on 'About' then 'The 5 Speeder' - The document is 11th in the list. I think Phil does it slightly differently nowadays but the majority of the procedure is valid and very helpful.
