Welcome Colin. As a relative "Newbie" myself to both Morgan ownership and Talk Morgan, I can't commend both highly enough. After 35+ years of bike ownership and so called "Supercars"; Bentley, Porsche and Aston. The latter was a sure fired way of fund depletion, due to the complexity and cost of maintaining and the former, once you reach a certain age, dangerous!!!
My Morgan (Marty) is a 2011 Plus 4 with the Ford 2.0 Duratec engine mated to a Mazda 5 speed gearbox. You will I am sure get into the 'personalisation' as hardly any 2 Morgans are the same!! The initial outlay was significant but running costs very sensible, and what other marque offers degree of exclusivity, back to basics motoring with undisputable stunning looks.
