Yes, I don't see a particular problem. Quite a few of my mates make a part of their living by providing services to second-home owners, and one of the nice things about them is that they are used to paying South East England rates for work. Best of all was a few years ago when one of my pals spent 3 months building a 6 foot high stone wall down somebody's drive. No sooner was it finished than the home owner bought a new exotic supercar and realised there was insufficient clearance between house and wall, so the whole thing had to come down and be moved by a meter or so. That was a good little earner.

The only outsider in our village is Lord Drayson who lives in the big house at the top of the hill. He flies in and out by helicopter and doesn't really bother anyone. He can hardly be accused of taking a home away from local folk either, as no-one round here could have afforded to buy it anyway toff smile
