I used to own this 1966 Big Block 427 (7 Litre )

Now this car had side-pipes

I know it is easy to look at the past with rose tinted specs but in the case of the Corvette, the C3-C5 did nothing for me. While there were aspects of the C6 that left something to be desired, it was definitely a move in the right direction - especially the Z06 and ZR1.

However, for me, the 1966 and 1967 Big Blocks will always be what a Corvette was all about...
