Wow ... it's had quite a life !!
Yep, bars are fixed ...the strap is a later addition .... made so there's a tongue that folds over the bars and sticks to the rest of the strap ..... many thanks for the info ....had it since the early eighties and had no idea it was anything special ...just always been there .
Now feel a little bit like one of those guys who bought a blower Bentley for 500 quid in the fifties and kept it at the back of the garage
