That Tesla solar roof does not look too bad. Actually it looks quite good and would suit this are well where we have traditional rooves in split serpentine stone.

With an entire roof like that in the Tesla photo and a sufficiently large power wall you could probably be independent of the grid. Mind you the payback period would probably be a million years laugh
