As a Long term member of the Porsche club, my deviation into Morgan ownership may well have ruffled some feathers but they put up with me and IT on the rare occasions I tagged along. I remember well on a run down around Dumfriesshire on meeting up with the local Porsche members in that area for a lunch in a hotel, later I was sent a pic of the guys all standing around my Morgan gesturing as if they were all urinating on it... all with smiles on their faces of course...
I went on a Ferrari Owners Club long weekend away a couple of years ago, and I had no option but to d so in my wife's car. So we had a long line of various red ferraris ( all red- a bit unmaginative?) in line astern being followed by me in a blue Smart Roadster, all 600cc of it. Bit like a terrier running along afer a pack of greyhounds..But we were all mid engined!
