Hi Mad Max,

It goes like this. A chap from the cycling club owned a Morgan 4/4. This is going back about fifty years. Move on a bit and the friend's nephew, also a member of the cycling club met my sister at a party. After they had been married a few years (about forty years ago) Dave bought a 4/4. He then bought a +8 (1968 vintage) and restored the 4/4 and it was eventually sold. I had bought a 4/4 (VUY5G). Dave still has his +8. His reg no. was only two numbers different to mine. He still has it, so you can see there is a bit of family history of Morgans. I also lived in Kempsey and could see the Malvern Hills from my house. My late wife worked for the Halifax in Malvern. I also owned a TVR 3000S but my preference was always for a Morgan.
