Just had a thought. May be try a fly back diode across the relay. Perhaps its producing an unwanted spike upsetting the speedo?
Agreed as previously suggested in thread
here. All modern Morgan's have a note on the circuit diagrams for diode relays to be fitted. Unfortunately after market additions and kits don't always provide such.
