I run 18” wheels for racing
My AM26 130/80-18 tyres are too wide for my mudguards, but hey, maybe the wider Euro 4 mudguards might be worth a try. Should be a few knocking around cheap soon 😉
BTW, It cost the best part of £1000 to go 18”, but there is far superior grip and the tyres have lasted a full season of abuse
I know this is an ancient thread but can you share more about the wheels you used and your front and rear tire setup? I've been bringing my M3W to track days and have reached the point where the tire grip has become a major limitation. I've never experienced so much front end slide as I had yesterday.
