I don't get on here often enough - spend too much time lying under three wheelers I suppose!
I have to say, I find your lovely comments humbling but also rewarding. I enjoy every minute of my work and I am just glad if it helps sort out some of peoples problems.
Many people have suggested that I should have been on the M3W design team but I am well aware of how easy it is to pick holes in other peoples work and how hard it is to get this sort of thing right starting from scratch. My career has involved trouble shooting rotating equipment for more than 5 decades- I am good at it but that also makes me a right royal pain in the arse to folks who's equipment I get to play with.
Interesting to find myself lining up a Centa coupling for a friend last week - in a narrow boat. You can't beat a bit of variety.
