I used the original Shadow Foam (not the laminated version) for my spanner(s) set.

This is 3 layer,housed in a Bosch L Boxx ** -

I used a scalpel to cut the foam - the top (coloured) layer is firm, almost 'crusty'.A change of blade half way through helps too.

I like the finished result but sadly, still think the foam is a tad overpriced......

oh dear, something else to feel inadequate about, still I hardly have any spanners so best not to think about it ....
