I do actually have a set of balancing cones that were used successfully once when I got to more or less mount them and the wheels on the balancing machine myself. When "used" out of my sight they produced suspiciously rubbish results. I do now have a pair of adaptor sleeves to put the cones on my old static balancer and will give that a try at next tyre change.
