I mount my tires and I do the static balancing on the TW by pushing back the brake pads, the wheel turns by itself the unbalance is at 6 o'clock, it is enough to put adhesive mass at 12 o'clock with precision 10 grams, 0 vibrations while driving.

I do actually have a set of balancing cones that were used successfully once when I got to more or less mount them and the wheels on the balancing machine myself. When "used" out of my sight they produced suspiciously rubbish results. I do now have a pair of adaptor sleeves to put the cones on my old static balancer and will give that a try at next tyre change.
