Glad you're having so much fun Mitchell76. Your story is very reminiscent of mine, I delayed a test drive until I was in the position to buy one! I too have limited automotive knowledge but, with the help of Talkmorgan, I'm picking things up rapidly, and it' great fun. I'm three years into ownership and still enjoying it as much as (if not more than) the first days.
You don't say where you're located but if you're able to I'd thoroughly recommend one of Brands Hatch Morgan's workshop days, you'll be with likeminded people, some of whom will have similar levels of knowledge, and you'll learn loads of basic stuff - I did.
