Might be an age thing but F1 no longer presses my buttons .... when it comes to watching racing, the odd vid of the classics racing at Goodwood excites me more.... cars on the limit and drivers really dicing ..... F1's excess pitstops that aren't needed on a 200 mile race.... playing the safety car ... tyres designed to be wild cards .... just 'excitement boosters' for the armchair viewers .... not what racing is about to me .... all it needs is extra points for 'style' ,like with drifting, and the grid position decided by a pre-race nomex fashion show and its descent into empty entertainment would be complete.
