I'm sorry you didn't find the price of my QR to your liking, you were not alone that's why I'm no longer making them. The joys of design and development for small volume cars.
I am and have continued to convert Morgans to Easy~fit~hoods this is my 25th year. I fondly remember back in 1995 when Charles Morgan used to call in to my workshop to see how the development of the new hood was coming on. He was always very enthusiastic and positive. Even though Peter stayed in the car outside he paid my invoice promptly!
As far as the header rail kit only, yes I'm still making these I completed one only this last week actually. I have NEVER just cut the studs off the frame and stuck tape on, mine are brand new chrome on brass frames. I have many old studded frames I have removed funnily enough when I moved out of Colwall where you visited I weighed in 1000 frames seemed a shame but no one wanted them.
