I have the same model: GoPro Hero 7 Black.
I mount it between the two windshields. If you have a large one-piece windshield you can still place it a little forward with the GoPro suction cup (very reliable. It won't move despite the vibrations). I our case, I still made a little lanyard to secure it to the "lift-the-dot" male pin between the windshields.
MANDATORY: a windslayer. It's very cheap. You can get a decent one for less than 10 USD in Amazon. And it makes a huge, really amazing, difference as it kills the wind noise I would say at 95%.
I have four (yes 4) batteries. And I will soon buy a larger memory card. Because the one I have has 64 Gb and, unless you download every night the videos to the PC, the day after you'll run out of memory.
We also bought the Smart Remote. It helps a lot so you don't have to reach the camera to start and stop your videos. Very convenient if you place it somewhere you don't have easy access to its buttons.
