Ive had BMWs, Audis, Mercs and an Alfa and still prefer BMWs and there are some great offers around.
I think you will find more 2 series Active tourers for sale than 3 series estates as the 2 series is probably bigger and more practical. My wife had a 2 series diesel whixh was a great car before getting an X1. Both are great for the dog and practical.
I haven had a single fault with my wifes last 2 BMWs. My wife did choose an Alfa 156 some years ago which did have great steering and handling but started to fall apart just out of warranty and servicing was very expensive. Good job it was a company car but I wouldnt buy one with my own money.
