Very true, and if it's a large amount of stuff you need it's much more environmentally friendly to use a delivery service that brings food straight from a distribution centre, like Ocado. Supermarkets have a very high carbon footprint.

When you order from Ocado they will show you the 'green' delivery times, when your batch will be combined with others locally to further reduce the impact.
