It's a bit more complicated than that. And activity tracking is more about the browser than the search engine anyway. For example, just checking my site tracker report, I see that my activities on TalkMorgan are being tracked by Facebook.com, Facebook.net and Twitter. Twitter I don't use at all, and Facebook only rarely. Yet those applications are attempting to monitor my inputs and outputs from my TM session. So it's not just Google search, though they do facilitate the analytics for the other companies that use their search.

I think you will find all the common commercial browsers support tracking, regardless of search engine used. Bing does support tracking for sure (my marketing team exploits that), less sure about the other mentioned. Many browsers today give you the ability to limit tracking, though they default to tracking.
