Love my Specialized Vado e-bike which I’ve had for three years now. Copes with the sometimes very steep hills around here with no problem. Like Kev, I tend to ride it around 17- 18 mph so the motor is cut out and just rely on it for hills. I have also had my partners Brompton converted by ARCC. I have to admit that it’s the bike I now pinch...huge fun!
Around here the steep hills are always steep.
How is your partner getting on with the Brompton? The ARCC seems to be one of the best engineered Brompton conversions but the cost is high compared to say the Nano.
