Took the car out for a short 100 mile run today and I am confident now that the baffle drilling made a real impact on the performance of the engine. The more I drive this car/motorcycle, the more I am loving it. I just want to get my confidence up before I take it way away from home. All the things I have read about the bevel box and Cush drive system has me a little apprehensive but I am sure as I drive it, I will get more confidence in the car. All the noises are typical Harley noises. My first Harley, I thought the engine was running without oil in it. I drove the mechanic crazy for the first year about noises. After I finally realized he was right about the noisy valve train, I took off and never worried. The bevel box noise is not bad at all. I was expecting to hear some awful whining that I couldn't stand. I can hear a whine but nothing bad at all. That compensator thing is what I am concerned about. I will replace that with the upgrade when I have to replace the rubber inserts along with the bevel box support. I just LOVE this car
