The fan turns off ~199-200. The oil slowly creeps up to ~209 and then it kicks back on and the temp slowly drops. I could put a lower temp fan switch, but that is the temps most car radiators operate within


Do you have a detailed list of what you did? parts, steps of install? The one thing about these big v twins, is that they run hot. Trying to cool them has always been an issue as oil coolers help they are dead in the water when there is no air flowing across them. Sure, it still helps to have them but your system is acting like a radiator system in a car. I wonder for us non-louvered guys, if it would be as effective? It certainly couldn't hurt. I would really be interested in your set up.
