I suspect it matters not a jot if you have been with one broker or another for years...? I also suspect what really matters is how many hoops you might have to jump through to arrive at what might seem a reasonable settlement of a claim...?

I seem to remember of one Morganeer who had real issues of what seemed to be treatment far below "reasonable" treatment by a Morgan specialist broker, in trying to resolve a claim, where he had to put what seems rather a lot of effort into arguing that his Morgan was "repairable" and not the write off that the seemingly less than skilled assessor claimed it was.. From a dull memory the Morgan was eventually repaired...

OK,OK so there are two sides to any story... But, perhaps worth considering the sad experiences of others...?

I have been with my Morgan specialist insurer for circa 18 years and fortunately never made a claim, does that equate to them being worthy of recommendation to others.. nice folk though they seem to be..?

On foreign travel... Might also be well worth reading the small print lest you find on your agreed value fully comp policy that when in foreign parts your cover drops to what ever the local minimum legal cover is acceptable in that country... which is likely to be WAY WAY short of your expectations of the insurance you THOUGHT you bought..?

Might be best to tread carefully chaps.
